Dr Susannah Collings was born and educated in Canberra, having received her medical degree from ANU. She has completed specialist training in General Practice and enjoys all aspects of family medicine, with special interests including women’s and children’s health, mental health and antenatal care.

Outside of working hours she enjoys spending time with her young family, reading, travel and keenly follows various sports including her beloved Raiders.

Dr Chalani Weerasinghe

Dr Chalani Weerasinghe grew up in Melbourne. She completed a Bachelor of Radiography and Medical Imaging at Monash University before working in the field for 6 years. She then moved to Canberra, which is now home, to complete her medical degree at the ANU. Chalani has since obtained her fellowship in General Practice, Diploma in Child Health and she is also a Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Doctor (IBLM & ASLM).

Chalani is a TIGP founder, and is passionate about providing comprehensive, thorough and evidence-based care to her patients.

While Chalani enjoys all aspects of general practice, her special interests are lifestyle and preventative medicine, as well as chronic illness.

Dr Tracy Liang

Loves: rock climbing, strength training, freestyle BMX, riding mountain bikes and playing piano.

Dr Tracy Liang completed her medical studies at the University of Newcastle. She did her early medical training in Canberra, and has been in the field of general practice since 2008. Tracy is a TIGP founder.

Tracy is passionate about providing holistic, thorough, patient-centred care to people who want to be pro-active and informed about their health care choices. Tracy recognises the importance of really knowing and understanding her patients, and strives to develop a close long term working relationship with them. In collaboration with her patients, she hopes to formulate the most effective strategies to empower and improve their health and wellbeing.

Dr Liang enjoys all areas of general practice, and has a particular interest in biomechanics and movement and complex conditions.

Dr Liang also has a Masters in classical piano performance from the Australian National University. These days, she spends her free time rock climbing, strength training, learning freestyle BMX, riding mountain bikes and occasionally playing the piano.

Dr Chloe Jeffers

Dr Chloe Jeffers grew up in Canberra and completed a science degree before pursuing a career in medicine. She completed her medical degree in Victoria and worked at The Austin Hospital in Melbourne before moving back to Canberra.

Chloe worked at the Canberra Hospital and obtained her Diploma of Child Health before completing her fellowship in General Practice. She enjoys all areas of General Practice with a passion for Women’s Health, Children’s Health and caring for older people.

Outside of work she loves being with her family, bush walking and drinking coffee.

Dr Jenni Brown

Dr Jenni Brown grew up in Canberra. She received her medical degree from the University of Newcastle, and diploma of tropical medicine from London. Jenni spent 3 years working as a senior lecturer in rural Medicine for In Arnhem Land and continues to provide regular locum support to rural and remote regions of Australia. Her special interests are emergency medicine, tropical and travel medicine, and indigenous health. Interests outside medicine include gardening, baking, managing chooks and dogs, and attending a regular sewing group.

Dr Gerry Miller

Dr Gerry Miller is a Canberra local having done most of her schooling here after emigrating from Malaysia with her family in the 70’s. She graduated from Flinders University in South Australia then spent time working in the UK and USA returning to live and work in Canberra in 2007 with her young family. Dr Miller enjoys all aspects of general practice. Keeping fit is a big part of her life and she enjoys running and more recently has taken up road cycling.

Dr Edward Quay

Dr Edward Quay graduated from the University of NSW. He started out at St Vincent’s Hospital Darlinghurst before moving to The Canberra Hospital. He completed 3 years as a Medical Registrar before joining the original practice in Tuggeranong where he has remained ever since.

Ed is experienced in and enjoys all areas of general practice. His recreational interests include travel, art history, archaeology and bird photography.

Dr Andrew French

Dr Andrew French completed his Bachelor of Medicine at Newcastle University and undertook three years of residency at The Canberra Hospital before commencing his specialist training in General Practice at Kambah Village Medical Practice in 2021. Andrew has undertaken further training in emergency and paediatric medicine. As a former Air Force officer, he also has an interest in veteran’s health. When not at work Andrew enjoys building furniture, hiking and spending time with his family.

Megan Wallace

Megan brings to TIGP 25 years of nursing experience. She trained at Charles Sturt University and did some post graduate studies at Griffith University, QLD. Megan has worked at every hospital in Canberra, including Duntroon!

Megan has 4 daughters and likes to spend her spare time reading, gardening and traveling when she can. Megan really enjoys working at TIGP and helping to provide care to all of our lovely patients.

Dr. Clare Perkins grew up in the Shoalhaven area of NSW and completed a degree in medicinal chemistry before studying medicine through the University of Wollongong. Clare then moved to Newcastle, where she completed her GP training before relocating to Canberra 8 years ago. Clare enjoys all areas of general practice but particularly enjoys women’s health and paediatrics, and she has also completed the Sydney Child Health Program. Outside of work, Clare enjoys spending time with her family and dog.

Georgina Auert

Georgina grew up in Perth, Western Australia and completed her nursing degree at the University of Notre Dame. After graduating, she moved to the United Kingdom and spent her first two qualified years working for the NHS in acute medicine. Upon returning to Australia, Georgina has worked in the emergency department in both regional and metropolitan hospitals, with a heart for country health services and an aim to refine her critical care skills. Since moving to Canberra, she has embraced the opportunity to expand her nursing practices in primary health care, pursuing a passion for holistic medicine and health education.

When she’s not at work, Georgina can be found happily thinking about, eating and cooking food, adores travelling, and is most content outdoors, particularly on a sunny day at the beach.

Dr Gemma Ruddick is a GP registrar interested in sport and lifestyle medicine. She has completed three years of residency at The Canberra Hospital including last year in the Emergency Department. She has also completed further study in Emergency Medicine and a Masters in Healthcare in Remote and Extreme Environments.
Gemma was a spatial scientist in the public service for a decade before studying medicine at the ANU. Outside of work she can be found running on the trails around Canberra.

Dr Sam Moran grew up in Melbourne and completed undergraduate studies in Science before completing his medical degree at Monash University and working in regional Victoria and Sydney. He is currently completing general practice training in Canberra and on the South Coast of NSW. Sam has a Diploma in Child Health and spent two years working at a Children’s Hospital before starting in general practice.

Sam enjoys all aspects of general practice and getting to know patients from all walks of life.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with family and friends and travelling in Australia and internationally.

Dr Hannah Penn

Dr Hannah Penn was born in the UK and emigrated to Australia with her family at aged 18. She originally lived in Adelaide before moving to Canberra to complete medical school before working in the hospital as a junior Doctor for 2 years. She is currently a GP registrar with the Australian Defence Force and previously worked in Milton NSW last year before being posted back to Canberra as a medical officer as part of her ongoing GP training. She has also completed a graduate certificate in Emergency Medicine and a course in Lifestyle Medicine.
Outside of work Hannah enjoys spending time with her Golden retriever Albie, learning the piano, reading, swimming and skiing. She is hoping to get the chance to travel and see more of Australia through her work with the ADF.
